Kate Mangold is an artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Painting and Drawing in 2005 and an MFA from Yale University in Painting and Printmaking in 2009. She received the Gloucester Landscape Painting Prize from Yale School of Art in 2008. In addition to participating in group exhibitions she has had solo exhibitions in New York and Nashville. Mangold has been teaching studio art with the Reggio Emilia approach to young preschoolers at Washington Market School in Lower Manhattan since 2013.
